Introduction
The Unilog 2 from SM-Modellbau is an established and versatile logger/limiter that has already proven its reliability in several FAI competition classes.
Since March 2026, it has also been approved for the F3G class together with the 150 Ampere F3G Power Sensor and firmware 1.17j.
Due to its versatility and the wide range of available sensors, it enables the recording of diverse motor- and flight-parameters and their detailed evaluation using the logs and DataExplorer, in addition to the functions required for F3G.
The Unilog 2 is configured via a Windows program that retrieves information from the SD card and saves the configuration there. The SD card also serves to store a virtually unlimited number of logs.
Selecting the F3G Logger/Limiter mode with firmware 1.17j, all competition-relevant parameters will be automatically be set and telemetry is deactivated.
Flight data can be accessed via an external display, UniDisplay+. This display can be removed during the flight without affecting the functionality of the Unilog 2.
The "Reset Button" must be created/built by the user. A reed switch and a servo cable are suitable for this, as the reset is triggered by closing the "ground" and "pulse" connections at terminal A3.
