Introduction
The Eagle F3X from rc electronics is a new, innovative logger/limiter in the F3X class.
It was tested and approved for use in F3G competitions in combination with the F3G current sensor and firmware version 1.3.5.
In addition to the required "basic functions":
Automatic motor shutdown when the maximum motor runtime of 30 seconds or motor power of 350Wmin is reached
Measurement of the so-called "F5J altitude," which refers to the maximum altitude the model reaches from launch until 10 seconds after automatic or manual motor shutdown.
the Eagle F3X also features a GPS sensor and communication module for communicating with rc electronic ground stations such as Snipe or SnipeBLE. This, in conjunction with the manufacturer's Albatross app (Android), allows for precise simulation of turn signals for the task distance and measurement of flight time for the task duration.
These functions are currently not homologated and are neither used nor required in competition. However, they offer the possibility to practice these disciplines in F3G without assistance.
The configuration of the Eagle F3X and the reading of flight data and logs are done using the rc electronic app (Android & iOS) via Bluetooth.
